The St.Clar lab of plant physiological ecology applies molecular, physiological and GIS tools to understand plant-environment interactions and ecosystem processes in forest and desert systems. Major research themes include plant and ecosystem responses to altered disturbance regimes, plant-soil interactions and plant defense strategies.
